After his family moved to South Florida in the 1980’s and while still attending his college studies, Mr. Leavitt purchased his 1st piece of real estate. Although that deal did not bare the fruits of success that Cole envisioned, he now attributes that deal to being one of his greatest lessons learned in the real estate industry. He was 22 years old.

In 1993 upon graduating from Florida Atlantic University, Cole did not go directly into the real estate industry. Instead, Cole chose a path in the construction industry and formed his 1st company. That business would go on to become one of South Florida’s leaders in its industry. Many of South Florida’s greatest landmark today still show his company’s work.

In 2004, while still running his 1st company, Cole formed his 2nd company. Although the concept for this company was a novel idea at the time, Cole believed it to be the next big thing in real estate. He was right! The concept was owners renting out their properties to Vacationers. Cole moved quickly. He began purchasing properties in all the hottest tourist spots throughout the state of Florida. Business was booming and so were his investments; However, in 2006 Cole felt the tide turning and his real estate concerns were growing. So, after a short deliberation Cole decided to sell both his construction company and all of his vacation rental assets. Less than a year later Cole’s concerns became a reality. The financial markets crashed!

It would take 2 long years for Cole to finally see the opportunity he was always waiting for. In 2008 Cole joined one of the top National Commercial Real Estate firms. After 1 year under his belt, Cole became a top producer. Shortly after that, Cole was awarded the prestigious “Deal Maker of the Year Award” by the Palm Beach County Board of Realtors Commercial Division. Two years later, Cole would establish Commercial Partners Real Estate Organization (CPRE) and go on to create “The King of Multi-Family” brand.

Today Cole is known as the eyes and ears of the multi-family industry. With a network following that is local, national and international Cole has truly established himself amongst investors as a true expert in his chosen field. For this reason, Cole is often sought out as guest speaker on the subject matter as well. Cole truly is The King of Multi-Family and his knowledge and investor network is 2nd to none.

When not serving South Florida’s investment real estate community, Cole can be found spending much of his time with his two boys Mason & Maxwell. All three share the same passions of Fishing, Mountain Biking, Running, Boating & traveling around the United States. It is Cole’s hope that both boys will someday join him in continuing to grow the CPRE & “King of Multi-Family” Brands.
